Phantom Flex4K-GS

The Phantom Flex4K-GS – Available from Love High Speed with PL, Panavision PV or Canon EF lens Mount.

Built upon the Phantom Flex4K cinema camera platform, the Flex4K-GS incorporates a global shutter. Made with a 35mm format sensor, supports up to 4K resolution up to 1,000 frames-per-second. Redefining what’s possible when it comes to high-speed imaging, the Phantom Flex4K-GS offers exceptional image quality, new workflow options, a user-friendly camera control interface and improved performance at standard frame rates.

At its full acquisition resolution of 4096 x 2304 the camera is capable of recording from 24 to 938 frames-per-second (fps), and up to 1,000 fps at 4096 x 2160 resolution. Latitude, resolution and sensitivity have all been greatly increased in this model.

The main difference between the Flex4K-GS and the original Phantom Flex4K is the addition of a global shutter mode. This enables the camera’s use for applications where a rolling shutter cannot be used due to possible motion artifacts and the progressive scan behavior of each exposure.

Additionally, the RAM upgrade which is now standard in all our cameras doubles the internal RAM to 128GB. The RAM allows the camera to record for a set time depending on the frame rate and resolution. The increased internal RAM of 128GB allows the Flex4K to record for twice as long at all resolutions and frame rates. See the recording time table below.

With the use of the CineMags, the on-board solid state memory, users can record into camera's RAM and then upload the recording to the CineMag in seconds. This eliminates camera down time between shots and offers an unrivalled workflow.

Global Shutter (GS) Mode

Employing a custom global shutter sensor which ensures that every pixel is exposed to light at the exact same moment in time. With the unique ability to switch between global and rolling shutter modes to take advantage of both scenarios

Improved latitude, resolution and sensitivity

The custom 10-megapixel sensor captures intricate detail with impressive dynamic range and low noise. This means excellent image quality and low-light performance.

Maximum internal RAM supplied as standard

All Love High Speed's Phantom Flex4K cameras come with the maximum 128GB internal RAM as standard. Shoot continuously for 10 seconds at 1000fps at 4K. Resulting in a shot lasting over 6 minutes on playback.


Bespoke customisations from Love High Speed come standard in our Phantom Flex4K camera. A fully customised and integrated power accessory box has been developed to provide the power distribution camera crews expect from a modern digital camera.

Designed to fit securely between the onboard battery and the camera body, 12v and 24v power from either the onboard battery or the 3-pin Fischer primary power input is fed to the power accessory box. The additional outputs continue to work in all power input configurations, providing multiple 24v 3-Pin RS, 12v 2-Pin Lemo and 12v D-Tap (P-Tap) power sockets.

Additionally, a fully customised development from Love High Speed is the wireless camera control module. Sitting behind the power accessory box, this low profile addition allows full camera control over Wifi. Resulting in a neat and cable integrated module to reliably control all menu aspects of the camera.

These enhancements have been designed to offer increased functionality, making for a more industry standard system and speeding up the camera control, camera cut and save process.
